Alyn and Deeside (Welsh: Alun a Glannau Dyfrdwy) is a UK parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons, established in 1983. It uses the first-past-the-post system to elect one MP. The same boundaries were used to create the Alyn and Deeside Senedd constituency in 1999.
According to the 2023 Periodic Review by the Boundary Commission for Wales, Alyn and Deeside will retain its name and gain additional wards for the next UK general election.
Located on the Welsh border with England, Alyn and Deeside is an industrial region north of Wrexham and west of Chester, hosting major employers like Toyota, BAE, and Airbus. Key population centers include Shotton, Connah's Quay, Buckley, Hawarden, and Caergwrle. It was previously known as East Flintshire until renamed in 1983 after the Alyn and Deeside district formed in 1974.
