Who Will Be The Next Swansea City Manager

A list of the potential candidates should the job become available today based on previous people appearing in the betting odds when the position was vacant last time, to others who have a profile that would fit the club in terms of the last few managers they have had.

Alan Sheehan

Sheehan was the interim caretaker manager of the Swans after Michael Duff was sacked.

Chris Davies

wwww.premierleague.comAlthough born in England, Davis qualified to play for Wales through his father and represented the national team at Under 19 level. He is not as high profile as other candidates, but you will have seen him in the dugout for a host of clubs, including Swansea, between 2010 and 2012. He has worked with Brendan Rodgers for a large part of his management career, typically as a first-team coach. At the time of writing, he has been recruited by new Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou.

Giovanni Van Bronckhorst

Hailing from Holland, van Bronckhorst came to the UK to play for Rangers in 1998 before moving to Arsenal in 2001, making 41 appearances. After a move to Barcelona and seeing out his playing career at Feyenoord, he took over as their coach for four seasons. He returned to Glasgow as the Rangers manager in 2021; however, results did not go well, and he was let go in November 2022.

John Eustace
