What Are The NTA Awards?

The NTA are Britain's leading television award.

Formed in 1995 many of our favourite actors and actresses have been recipients of an NTA. 

Our most popular television programmes have also been worthy recipients of the NTA prize. 

There are normally around 15 categories with the bookmakers offering NTA betting on many of them. 

The awards are solely voted for by the public, you can vote by post, via telephone or online.

How Do I Place A Bet On The NTA Awards?

Around a week before the glittering ceremony, odds will be created by the best betting sites, normally Betway, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and William Hill have NTA odds on offer.

Just like a sporting event the bookmakers create odds on each recipient or programme in selected categories. 

You simply need to go to your favourite betting app and head to the TV & Specials section in the menu, then select NTA betting.

Placing Your NTA Bet

Once you are at the betting site you will see the NTA prices in the TV & Specials section

All you need do is click on the NTA category/s you are interested in and place your selection/s.

This will open up the bet slip, at which point you will see confirmation of the betting odds being offered

Now you choose your stake - most betting sites will show you how much you can expect to have returned if your prediction is correct.

If you are happy, simple hit, PLACE BET, to confirm your selection, stake, and bet.

You will be given a receipt for your bet and it will appear in your open bets in your account details.

Then it's just a matter of waiting to see who wins the NTA on the night.

Alison Hammond and Bradley Walsh make up the quartet of NTA nominees in this category. 

Holly and Phil are not nominated in what has been a controversial few weeks for the duo, however, This Morning is nominated in the NTA Daytime show category.

The most prestigious award is the Special Recognition NTA, as you can see below many household names have been celebrated.
