Razzies 2023 Betting Odds: Blonde is the new favourite at EVENS with bookmakers to win the dreaded Worst Film award at the Razzies!
The Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as the Razzies, are set to take place this weekend and bookies are giving odds on who will win the parody awards this year. Blonde is the new favourite at evens to win the Worst Film award with critics panning the movie since its release back in September last year. Paddy Power originally had the movie as a 12/1 outsider in the Worst Film market but it has since been given a 50% chance of winning the award according to the odds.

The Razzies History
The Razzies were created in 1981 when a US publicist invited a few friends to his house to vote on the worst films of the year after watching the 53rd Academy Awards.
This grew from year to year and was subsequently picked up by newspapers and tv stations.
The Golden Raspberry Award Organisation vote each year on the worst performances and films.
The ceremony now takes place the night before the Oscar Ceremony so as to receive maximum publicity.
Worst Picture Razzie
Awards are generally given to well-known/bigger budget movies.
Those films have the resources to create a "good film" and when they fall short in the eyes of the organization they are highlighted.
The 2020 winner/loser was Absolute Proof which also picked up the worst actor Razzie for Mike Lindell.
Smaller films tend in many cases to be ignored for a Razzie.
