Peterborough United can be quick to dispense of managers when results have not gone well. The Posh have now had forty-three managers since 1934. Darren Ferguson returning in 2023 meant that the club has also changed managers eleven times since 2010. Ferguson himself has now chosen the team on four separate occasions in those 13 years. If yet another change comes at the London Road Stadium, the leading bookmakers will have all the next Peterborough Manager odds, clues can be gleaned as to which managers are available via the next EFL manager to be sacked blog.

There are instances when these odds might not be readily available for certain clubs. This could be because the position has only recently been filled, the club is currently performing exceptionally well, or the club has a strong history of standing by its manager through thick and thin.

Who Could Be The Next Peterborough United Manager

Lee Johnson

Image: Hibernian-FC

Hibernian sacked Lee Johnson in August 2023 after a string of opening-season defeats. His record after joining the Edinburgh club was average, having PL52 W20 D8 L24. Johnson has previously managed Oldham, Barnsley, Bristol City, and Sunderland to varying degrees of success. He featured in the next Peterborough market contenders because the bookies had him in their next Peterborough manager market in 2022.

Grant McCann

Having managed Posh twice and been interim manager as well, the club could again turn to the familiar face of McCann. They have appointed Darren Ferguson four times, so why not again return to who you know?

Steve Evans

Another former old boy, Steve Evans, has done the rounds at League 1 and 2 clubs. If he were to return to London Road, which he last managed in 2019, Posh would be his eleventh managerial appointment.

Neil Lennon

In England, Neil Lennon has previously managed Bolton Wanderers but is better known and has spent longer north of the border managing Celtic twice and Hibernian. He also ventured to Cyprus to take charge of Omonia, but that project only lasted twenty-nine games. Lennon is another manager the bookmakers find easy to add to many next-manager betting lists.
