The current Brentford manager is Danish-born Thomas Frank. He has been in charge since 16th October 2018 and became the 44th permanent Bees boss. Brentford achieved promotion to the EPL in May 2021 via the playoffs and is the only team promoted that season to still be in the EPL (Norwich and Watford went straight back to the Championship). If a managerial change does come at the Gtech Community Stadium, clues to Franks's replacement may be gleaned from the next manager to be sacked blog. The leading bookmakers will also have all the next Brentford manager's odds.

There are instances when these odds might not be readily available for certain clubs. This could be because the position has only recently been filled, the club is currently performing exceptionally well, or the club has a strong history of standing by its manager through thick and thin.

Additionally, in some cases, the manager's position might be vacant, but there are strong indications or even rumours about the potential replacement. Despite these unique circumstances, it is worth noting that if betting odds do become available, we will present them here fin this section or your convenience. Regular updates related to the manager's position can also be found in the dedicated sports betting news section expertly managed by Jake Ashton. So, keep an eye out for any developments as we strive to keep you informed on the latest happenings in the football managerial landscape.

Who Could Be The Next Manager Of Brentford

Let's take a look at the possible contenders to become the next Brentford manager. These selections come from previous betting markets the last time the position was vacant and those that look suited, according to our next manager betting market expert.

Graham Potter

Another of the "newer breed" managers, Graham Potter, lost his way at Chelsea but is too good a footballing tactician not to be appointed by a club that values playing football properly. Brentford is not dissimilar in style to his first EPL club Brighton where the Solihull-born Potter flourished.

Brian Riemer

Image: tw/brianriemer

Brian Riemer was the current Assistant at Brentford. Like Thomas Frank, Riemer is Danish and cut his footballing teeth at FC Copenhagen.

In October 2024, he was appointed to manage the Danish National team, replacing Kasper Hjulmand, who resigned after Euro 2024.

Kjetil Knutsen

Image: romapress

The Norwegian will end up on the shores if the bookies have their odds correct. He has been quoted in a boatload of next-manager markets, including most recently, Leicester CityNottingham Forest and Glasgow Rangers

He is currently with Bodo/Glimt and alerted Chairman worldwide when his side demolished Jose Mourinho's Roma 6-1 in the 2021 Europa Conference League.

His style of play would create continuity at Brentford because he is cut from the same cloth as Thomas Frank.

Roberto Martinez

The Portugal national team came calling for Martinez after the World Cup in Qatar.

Martinez knows English football after managing Everton, Swansea, and Wigan, so it would not come as a huge surprise if the Spaniard ended up in West London.

Gareth Southgate

Having left the national team, Gareth Southgate is expected to take a well-deserved break. However,  once he has recharged his batteries, the bookmakers expect him to be appointed  to another high profile position. It would be a coup for Brentford if the ex-England boss was the Bees next manager.
