England Lionesses player Chloe Kelly is 10/1 with bookies to win this year's Sports Personality of the Year award after scoring the winner in the the European Championship Final.

Kelly was brought on as a substitute and ended up becoming a hero for her country with the winning goal in the final.

Paddy Power have shortened Mead as the favourite to win the SPOTY award, coming in from the 11/4 that she was after England's Semi-Final victory.

England Women winning the Euro's completely changed the betting market with Ronnie O'Sullivan and Jake Wightman drifting right out in the betting.

Runner Wightman was second favourite after his World Championship win but now he doesn't even feature in the top 5 in the market.

Chloe Kelly is the latest addition to the betting market for SPOTY after her European Championship final heroics at 10/1.

Beth Mead remains the odds on favourite to win the award

England Women's star Beth Mead remains the 3/10 favourite with to win this year's Sports Personality of the Year award after winning the European Championship.

Mead won the Player of the Tournament award and finished as the Top Goalscorer in a Summer that has made her a household name across the country.

Bookies give her a 76.9% chance of winning the award now in what looks like it'll happen in December.

The only competition for Mead would be if the Men's team won the World Cup and Harry Kane is 14/1 to win the SPOTY award.

Long time favourite Ronnie O'Sullivan now out to 14/1 in the market

Ronnie O'Sullivan is now out to 14/1 to win the Sports Personality of the Year award after his World Snooker Championship win back in May.

The Rocket won 18-13 against Judd Trump to win a modern-era equalling record 7th World Snooker Championship.

This made bookmakers insert O'Sullivan as the 11/4 favourite to win the SPOTY award which he has never won before despite his popularity.

In the last month though Beth Mead has single more of less ruined the Snooker legend's chance of winning the award this year.

Ronnie O'Sullivan had been favourite for the last three months but has since drifted right out to 14/1 in the betting market following England Women's success at the Euros.
