The current St Mirren Manager is Stephen Robinson, who left Morecambe suddenly after being "actively pursued" by the Paisley club. He joined the club in February 2022, replacing Jim Goodwin, who had been headhunted by Aberdeen, with the Dons triggering a release clause in Goodwin's St Mirren contract. Robinson became the 26th man in the Buddies hot seat since 1970. The leading bookmakers will have all the next St Mirren manager odds if further managerial changes occur.

Next St Mirren Manager Odds

There are instances when these odds might not be readily available for certain clubs. This could be because the position has only recently been filled, the club is currently performing exceptionally well, or the club has a strong history of standing by its manager through thick and thin.

Additionally, in some cases, the St Mirren manager's position might be vacant, but there are strong indications or even rumours about the potential replacement. Despite these unique circumstances, it is worth noting that if betting odds do become available, we will present them here in this section for your convenience. Regular updates related to the manager's position can also be found in the dedicated sports betting news section expertly managed by Jake Ashton. Who Will Be The Next St Mirren Manager

Here are some possible contenders for the next St Mirren manager from those that have been previously considered and some that have appeared in the betting the last time the job was vacant.

Scott Brown

Image: skysports

In May 2022, the former Celtic and Scotland midfielder was appointed to his first managerial job at Fleetwood Town in the EFL League One. He started well, but the results tailed off, and he was sacked in September 2023. He is expected to be a manager in demand as his career progresses, with surely a job back at Celtic Park sometime in the future. However, he may return to Scotland before any Hoops appointment with St Mirren looking a possible fit. Brown was quoted in the Next St Mirren manager betting before Stephen Robinson was appointed.

Steven Naismith

In April 2023, former player Steven Naismith was made Interim Hearts manager and then appointed permanently at Tynecastle in June 2023.

Tommy Wright

Image: skysportsTommy Wright featured in the betting market ahead of Robinson being appointed at the Paisley club. The ex St Johnstone and Kilmarnock manager is currently in charge of the Northern Ireland Under 21 team.

Jack Ross

It was reported that Ross turned down a return to St Mirren in 2022. Whether he will mellow in time and head back to Greenhill Road is open to question, but the bookmakers feature the Saints former manager whenever there is a vacancy at the club.

Kevin Thomson

He is a young manager who cut his coaching teeth with a League 2 Championship title at Kelty Hearts. He left the Fife team straight after winning the title and was linked to vacancies at Dundee, Dunfermline, and Raith Rovers but took none of them. It will surely be soon that Thomson is installed at an SPL or Championship team.
