Brendan Rodgers | 19 Jun, 2023 | 21/11/2024 | 521 |
Brendan Rodgers is the current Celtic manager and his length of service is shown in the table above. This is his second spell at Celtic Park having managed the club between 2016 and 2019. Rodgers is the 23rd man in the Hoops hot seat and if there is speculation the manager's position is under threat or he has left their post, the leading bookmakers will be providing all the odds. The bookies are renowned for getting these widely wrong, especially in the early days when the market is first created. It is best not to go blindly backing the favourite in any next-manager market - odds can also change at a moment's notice.
Next Celtic Manager Betting Odds
There are instances when these odds might not be readily available for certain clubs. This could be because the position has only recently been filled, the club is currently performing exceptionally well, or the club has a strong history of standing by its manager through thick and thin.
Additionally, in some cases, the Celtic manager's position might be vacant, but there are strong indications or even rumours about the potential replacement. Despite these unique circumstances, it is worth noting that if betting odds do become available, we will present them here in this section for your convenience. Regular updates related to the manager's position can also be found in the dedicated sports betting news section expertly managed by Jake Ashton. So, keep an eye out for any developments as we strive to keep you informed on the latest happenings in the football managerial landscape.

Who Will Be The Next Celtic Manager
You could argue that both Brendan Rodgers (1st time around) and Ange Postecoglou were surprising but innovative appointments. Both managers were successful and validated the choices by the Celtic Board.
Scott Brown
The former Celtic and Scotland midfielder was the archetypal enforcer and performed that role over 400 times in a 14 year career for the Hoops. Brown was appointed to his first managerial job at Fleetwood Town in EFL League One. He started well but was then sacked in September 2023. He will surely be in demand as he gains more managerial experience, and many fans would surely welcome him back to the top job at Celtic Park.
Steve Clark
The current Scotland manager Steve Clark has been the national team boss since 2019 and will surely receive an offer from the top Scottish clubs when his tenure ends. Clark himself reported that Rangers did approach him to be their manager and it would surprise no one if he ended up at Celtic Park within the next decade.
Barry Robson
Currently interim boss at Aberdeen Robson played 42 times for Celtic between 2008 and 2010. He is still in the early stages of his managerial career but the Hoops appointing “one of their own” could well happen. It's possible that Robson could be poached by Celtic in an assistant manager capacity and then guided by a more experienced hand before stepping up to the top job.
Roy Keane
Roy Keane supported Celtic and ended up playing for the club a handful of times at the back end of his very successful football career. He moved into management with his first job as the manager of Sunderland who at that time were in the English Championship and then on to another Championship side Ipswich Town. His longest spell in any one place came as Republic of Ireland assistant manager (2013-2018) working under former Celtic boss Martin O’Neil. Since then, he has been assistant manager at Aston Villa and Notts Forest but has not had hands-on club experience since 2019.
How To Bet On The Next Celtic Manager
To place a bet on the next Celtic manager is as easy as picking a contender from the list of possibilities, finding a bookmaker offering odds and then choosing how much you want to bet and then placing it. You will have to find a betting site offering live odds.
