2026 Maghull Novices Chase Preview

The Maghull Novices Chase is open to runners aged five or older who came into the season having not won over fences making them a novice, it is run at the Aintree racecourse in April during the Grand National meeting.

This Grade 1 is run over a distance of just shy of two miles with runners having to contend with twelve fences, runners who competed in the Arkle at Cheltenham tend to come to this race.
