2025 Laytown Races

The racing at Laytown is unique as it is staged on a beach, the event dates back to 1868 when it was first recorded to have taken place.

The action takes place on the County Meath strand, a straight bit of beach which is almost a level course and because of the uniqueness of this, races can only take place over either 6f or 7f.

It's a fantastic experience for those who can make it to the races, each year there are over five thousand racing fans who take in the experience.

As with all races, the bookmakers cover the event, all six races on the day will be priced and the OLBG tipsters will also be putting their thoughts on the racing right on here, to see which runners they are backing, head over to the Laytown Racing Predictions page.

To also help you, below we have a section for each of the six races, detailing past winners, leading trainers and jockeys and trends.
