Currently known as the BetVictor Champion Chase for sponsorship purposes, this race is scheduled to take place in either late October or early November of each year at the Down Royal Racecourse.

Open to runners who are aged five or older, this Grade 1 chase is run over a trip of three miles, in which runners face fifteen fences and has been a fixture here since 1999.
