The race in 2016 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 118%, whilst on average over the last 20 renewals of the Bowl Chase, the over-round has been 112%, which means the bookie expects to pay out £100 for every £112 which is bet.

Bowl Chase Trends:

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? From the past 20 if you had followed the winner of the Bowl Chase next time out then you would have backed a total of 2 winners. What the expert says...
The Cheltenham Gold Cup has produced eleven of the last twenty winners of the Bowl Chase, it produced every winner between 2014 & 2019, however, only one of the last four winners competed in the Gold Cup last time, two came from the Denman Chase with the other from the Ryanair Chase.
