  1. Winning Story (3:15.18) in 2017
  2. Litigant (3:17.30) in 2014
  3. Moonrise Landing (3:18.65) in 2016

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? From the past 11 if you had followed the winner of the All-Weather Marathon Championships next time out then you would have backed a total of 4 winners. Backing all 10 runners who have been out since to win at SP next time out, would have returned an LSP of +37.63. Remember to bookmark the racing tips page to access the OLBG racing picks easily daily.

The runner that holds the record over the past 11 renewals for the slowest time in the race was set in the 2022 renewal when Earlofthecotswolds from Nigel Twiston-Davies under the guidance of Liam Keniry, won in a time of 3:34.73, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Winning Story, trained by Saeed bin Suroor and ridden by Silvestre De Sousa set the quickest time of 3:15.18 in the 2017 renewal.

What the expert says...
Only three of the last seven winners of this race came here on the back of a win; three of the other four finished second on their route here, so remember to look beyond a last time out winner.
