Who are the Previous CS:GO BLAST Premier Winners?

Natus Vincere (NAVI) dominated the 2020 season, they won their group in the Spring Groups phase and then finished runner-up in the Spring Finals. They also went on to top their group in the Fall Groups and then went one better than the Spring season by winning the Fall Finals.

In the World Final, they lost their opening game against Team Liquid (2-1) which meant they had to go via the losers brackets in which they only dropped one game, they beat Heroic (2-0), G2 Esports (2-1), Team Liquid (2-0) and Team Vitality (2-0) which set up a final against Gambit Esports. Things didn't start well after losing the first map (Mirage) 16-11 but they went on to win Map 2 (Ancient) 16-11 and then Map 3 (Inferno) 16-6 which clinched the title for NAVI and a $500k payday!

It wasn't to be for Natus Vincere in 2022 as they searched for a third consecutive title, they won the Spring Finals to get into the World Final, however, after finishing third in their group they then lost in the quarterfinals to Team Liquid. It was G2 who went on to win their first title, they only managed third in their group but then won 2-1 and 2-0 to make it through to the final where they defeated LIquid 2-0 beating them 16-5 on the Inferno map and then 16-12 on Mirage.

Team Vitality lost 2-1 to G2 at the 2022 BLAST World Final but 2023 was a much better year for them, after qualifying through both the Paris and Fall tournaments they went 2-0 in Group A with a 52-33 map score. They advanced straight to the semi-finals for winning their group where they faced the two-time winners Natus Vincere who they beat 2-0 (26-14) to advance to the final. In the final they came up against FaZe Clan who like Vitality had won all three games 2-0, however, it was Vitality who came out on top with another 2-0 win (26-12) to win the 2023 World Final without losing a single map!
