Sixteen AFC teams across the four AFC divisions set out with the aim of initially reaching the post season play offs and then onto the AFC Championship game in late January. The winner of the AFC Championship game will face the NFC Championship winner in Super Bowl LX at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday 8th February 2026.

  • Four teams from another division in the AFC - Once
  • Four teams from a division in the NFC - Once
