UK now 20/1 to rejoin the EU before 2026
Bookmakers are now offering odds on UK political markets with odds given on the UK rejoining the EU before 2026 which will be a decade on from the Brexit referendum taking place.
Brexit has caused big controversy since happening and many thought that Keir Starmer coming into power for Labour may see the first wheels start to turn on the UK rejoining the EU.
This is something that has been firmly rubbished by Starmer with the current Prime Minister saying that the UK will not rejoin the EU in his lifetime according to reports in The Guardian back in July.
Betting odds around it happening before 2026 now are as big as 20/1 with the odds giving an implied probability of 4.8%.

Scottish Independence odds are offered once again
Other political betting markets that are offered by bookmakers currently look at further referendums that could be offered in the UK including the vote for Scottish Independence.
Scotland has previously gone to the polls to vote for Independence back in 2014 where 55% of voters decided to remain as part of the United Kingdom.
The latest betting odds are unable to split yes and no voters this time around with both given a 5/6 chance of winning if there was to be another referendum.
As of now there is no referendum set for Scotland but we could well see that change with former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon suggesting a second referendum previously.

For Independence (Pass) | 5/6 | 54.5% |
Against Independence (Fail) | 5/6 | 54.5% |

Keir Starmer has had a tricky start to life as Prime Minister to say the least with many asking questions around the opening months of his reign in charge.
This has led to bookmakers offering odds on who will be the next Labour Leader with long-time favourite Andy Burnham drifting in the latest betting odds.
Rachel Reeves has been backed into favourite but there have also been questions around her role as Chancellor of the Exchequer.
