Phil Foden has now shortened into 4/1 to be the PFA Player of the Year this season
England's Phil Foden has shortened into joint second favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award with UK Betting Sites slashing his odds from 16/1 last month into just 4/1.
Foden has continued to impress for Manchester City this season with a number of massive performances including in the recent Manchester Derby where he scored a brace.
Pep Guardiola's men continue to be a big player in the Premier League title race and Foden's form has played a big part in that with the Stockport-born forward continuing to impress.
The 23-year-old now sits alongside Arsenal's Declan Rice as the joint second favourite in the betting market with Bet365 to win the PFA Player of the Year award this season.
Foden has twice won the PFA Young Player of the Year award, in 2020-21 and 2021-22, and now could be in contention to win the main award.

What the expert says...
Phil Foden's odds to win the PFA Player of the Year award have been dramatically slashed as his form continues to impress fans and pundits alike!
Manchester City midfielder Rodri remains the favourite to win but his odds have drifted slightly
Rodri has long been the favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award this season and it stays that way with bookmakers putting him at the top of the market.
The Spanish midfielder's odds have drifted slightly in recent weeks though from 9/4 to 3/1 with his implied chance of winning cut by 5% in that time.
Rodri's unbeaten run for the Premier League champions continued last time out with the midfielder currently 62 games without a loss for City.

Premier League title race is heating up with Arsenal travelling to the Etihad next
Arsenal head to the Etihad Stadium next to face Manchester City with this game playing a massive part in the Premier League title race.
Despite sitting in third place in the league table, City remain the favourites to retain the title for the fourth season in-a-row with Liverpool following behind.
The Gunners are third favourites in the betting market at 11/4 but know that a win at the Etihad next against City will likely put them as the heavy favourites to win the league.
Premier League Winner 23/24 | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Man City | 6/5 | 45.5% |
Liverpool | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Arsenal | 11/4 | 26.7% |
