Robert Jenrick following just behind in the odds list with the market tight
Robert Jenrick has drifted to 5/4 to be voted in as the next Conservative leader in the past week after bookmakers changed the market right around.
Jenrick is the former immigration minister and has finished top in both of the ballots held so far which puts him in good stead ahead of the main leadership vote next month.
The MP stepped down from his immigration role back in December saying that Rishi Sunak's deportation policy to Rwanda “did not go far enough” and has since vowed to get immigration numbers down if he is eventually voted in.

Winner expected to be announced at the beginning of November
The final result for the next Conservative Party leader will be announced on 2 November with just four candidates remaining in the election.
4 September saw the first candidate eliminated with Priti Patel exiting the race after finishing bottom of the votes, followed by Mel Stride on 10 September in the second round of voting.
Both of those rounds saw Robert Jenrick win the most votes followed by Kemi Badenoch and she has been favourite to lead the party in previous months following Sunak's departure.
Badenoch now though sits at 11/2 in the market and is third favourite with bookmakers drifting her odds right out to be voted in.
