Richard Ayoade now 5/1 to become a host on Bake Off after Matt Lucas left the show
Presenter and Comedian Richard Ayoade is now 5/1 with bookies to be the next host of the Great British Bake Off following Matt Lucas' departure.
Ayoade has previous hosting experience on Channel 4, home of Bake Off, with presenting jobs such as Travel Man and Crystal Maze on the channel.
Betway give Ayoade a 16% chance of hosting Bake Off alongside Noel Fielding who has been a duo with Ayoade before on the Big Fat Quiz of the Year on Channel 4.
Bosses for the channel may like the rapport that the duo have on that programme and see it come across well to Bake Off.

Lucas announced he will be leaving in a statement earlier this month
Matt Lucas announced his departure from Bake Off at the start of December in what was a shock statement with no previous rumours of leaving.
The comic said in his Twitter post that he couldn't present both Bake Off and his new show Fantasy Football League as well as other projects.
Thanking the production crew and Channel 4, as well as his fellow presenter Noel Fielding and the judges, Lucas's statement brought soggy eyes to Bake Off fans around the country.
