Odds are given for the winner of this year's Bake Off with 27-year-old Josh the favourite for the show

Bookmakers are now offering odds on who will win this year's series of Great British Bake Off ahead of the show starting on Tuesday night and it's 27-year-old Josh who is the early favourite.

Leicestershire-born Josh is 5/1 to win Bake Off with those latest odds suggesting that there's a 16% chance of him winning the famous show this year with 12 bakers competing to win.

Abbi, 27, from Cumbria is the second favourite at 11/2 to win Bake Off with the series getting underway tomorrow night on Tuesday, September 26 at 8pm on Channel 4.

Betway have a full market up for the winner with the market fairly open and Josh isn't massively the favourite at the top of the betting with the odds close between the top 5.

The betting markets also have odds on who the first baker will be to be eliminated on this year's series of Bake Off with Amos the early favourite at 5/1 to go first.

43-year-old Amos is a Deli and grocery manager and could point to that experience to help him this year but the latest odds have him as the top of the betting market.

Dan, 42, from Cheshire is joint second favourite to go first at 6/1 along with Essex-born Dana, 25 and 52-year-old retired Cabin Crew worker Nicky from the West Midlands.
