Former favourites Chelsea have seemingly cooled their interest

Chelsea were odds on at 8/11 to sign Frenkie De Jong just last week, but the odds have already changed with the Blues drifting.

Thomas Tuchel's men have been busy in the transfer market this Summer with the signings of Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly.

Frenkie De Jong would be another big signing for the club but bookies feel there's just a 30% chance of that happening.

The midfielder may well stay at Barcelona this summer and is 6/4 to do so

Frenkie De Jong could well stay at Barcelona with the big question mark over the transfer around the money owed by the Spanish giants.

According to reports, De Jong is still owed millions in unpaid wages after deferring them during the coronavirus pandemic.

This is causing a delay in the transfer with De Jong obviously wanting the money that is owed and Barcelona reportedly refusing to pay that.

Due to this, bookies make it 6/4 that the Dutch midfielder stays at the club this Summer.

The owed wages could well stop De Jong from leaving Barcelona this summer with the player wanting to recuperate the majority of what he is owed by the club.
