First Impression of 7Bet Sports Betting

My First Impression

At first glance, and I mean the first thing I see is the dark home page, and it is plain, this site offers sports betting and casino in equal measure - A click on 'Sports' as that's what we are reviewing, and the fact this is a busy site means I am going to have a lot of choice os sports market and options.

Live Betting

Reviewed at 1:19pm on a Wednesday, the in-play betting options included basketball and tennis and some Asian football options. Esports betting was also available. not an optimum time to test live betting but it is good nonetheless to see at least something rather than a blank screen

Live Streaming

A handy little function in the in-play betting section is a live streaming switch, which then filters to only those events available for in-play betting and simultaneous live streaming - Esports features of course

Betting Odds

Betting odds look adequate if not outstanding; there is no huge negative to the odds so far as the team could see across their respective sports expertise. Sure if you are an avid value hunter, you may find better but what they have does suffice.

Also, remember that it is always worth checking alternative betting options, including best spread betting sites and betting exchange sites, depending on who you are as a bettor.

⚽ Football Betting

7Bet football betting covers all expected leagues and extensively, with over 1000 markets available for betting at the time of the review, from the Champions League to domestic leagues globally, you'll also find UK non-league coverage. The primary global venues are first in the list then major footballing nations and then a-z by country after that. So far as football betting sites go, they seem to have everything covered.

7Bet may be new to the UK market but are already making waves, in particular when it comes to their football offering, which is exceptional and immediately takes into out Top 10 based on the data. Key to their high score is the incredible odds that they offer, in tandem with a few promotions that punters are beginning to expect from their football bookie – acca boosts, odds boosts and early pay outs.

Bet Builder 

The bet Builder is a stable of UK sports betting sites these days so it is reassuring to see that 7Bet have included it in their UK offering. Not only that but it looks like they wat to compete with other bet builder sites given they offer it across more sports in addition to football.

Cash Out

Cash-out is available, and we are currently adding our findings to our analysis of the best cash-out betting sites. Whether our findings see them sitting in the realms of cash out giants bet365 or not remains to be seen.

Horse racing is to be found in the menu but is not highly promoted, probably because there is no UK racing that I could find - Irih racing is covered, and well as US and some global stuff, so i can share no news of Best Odds Guaranteed options.

Until such time as UK racing is included, they could be turning their back on a good number of punters looking for the best horse racing betting sites..

7Bet offers a comprehensive range of American sports for betting across all major leagues.

🏈 American Football Betting

We are looking at around 50 beting markets per American football match which is pretty good coverage. They had all NFL pre-seaon action up and Canadian CFL too, with collegiate events also in the mix it will be interesting to see how they rank in our best NFL betting sites rankings on the next update

🏀 Basketball Betting

After finding such good coverage in the previous category, it was only expected that basketball would be much the same and there is no disappointment. Our basketball betting sites guide, are sure to be featuring 7bet soon.

7Bet is going tor ank as a good baseball betting site given good coverage of the MLB and global leagues from the likes of Japan, Korea, and Mexico

🎯 Darts Betting

Any half decent darts betting site will be featuring both the PDC players championship and the PDC World Championships, and I can confirm that both were found at 7Bet - Good arrows!

OK Darts Offering

Whilst only checking out the darts betting at 7Bet during a quiet period, I did check the outright markets for the two major events and found the odds not to be too bad - I look forward to seeing how busy they are with more events taking place and individual match coverage with any luck.

Snooker Betting

As a fan of the sport our Editor-in-Chief is always on the lookout to determine which are the best snooker betting sites. 

It's OK

I found the snooker section a little tricky to navigate and on arrival, there were the current playing and scheduled matches available. Frame by frame betting (Not my thing) is available but outside of that and outright, things like frame scores, centuries etc were not apparent. Albeit the review was during the Xian open and not a major event.

🏉  Rugby Betting (Union & League)

I've mentioned it before that I dislike when sportsbooks don't offer rugby specific promotions although often not surprised to find their absence, certainly with the smaller sites, and 7Bet falls here for me. 

Both league and Union are covered, but I'm not sure they will make it compared in our best Rugby betting sites.

🎾 Tennis Betting

Great tennis coverage including in play betting which is a must. Just ahead of the US Open as I reviewed this, the ATP, WT,  Challenger, and both ITF codes wereall featured. Good job!

If they could add in more markets, and some tennis-specific promotions, they’d definitely be closer to getting into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.

🏌️ Golf Betting

An enormous number of ante post events to choose from which is going to score 7Bet highly in our best golf betting sites comparison. Many other sportsbook fail at offering odds ahead of time, and they do cover this well.

🏎️ Motorsports Betting

Good motorsport coverage at first glance, with F1, moto3, MotoGP, Nascar and Speedway all covered. We can't grumble at that.

Solid Selection

As a motorsports bettor, I'm happy with 7Bets offering. My two favourites, F1 and Speedway, are included, and if I am betting on-site, I have a growing interest in Nascar, which looks to be covered too.

Whilst these sports might sound very niche, there is a massive market for fans, and millions of them in the UK, so good coverage of niche sports and events is key to be reviewed on OLBG.

BetMGM Sports offers extensive betting options for Handball, volleyball, cycling, AFL betting, and esports. Handball includes global competitions; volleyball,covers European Championships and various tournaments; cycling features future tours and current races; AFL betting has comprehensive stats and esports offers all major games like League of Legends and CS:GO.

It was a pleasure to discover extensive political betting options on 7Bet albeit limited to widespread coverage of the US presidential elections.

At the time of reviewing 7Bet there were only betting options available for the US Presidential race, although the markets on offer were numerous. In fact, in terms of coverage, I would say 7Bet have this election covered from a betting perspective as well as any other site I have used.

Account Opening Process

This was very easy. A couple of clicks, enter the most basic of personal information (name, DOB, email and phone number etc.) and you’re onto th next screen whereby you need to choose a username and password. At this point you can add your preferred currency and your deposit limits which are mandatory. (Very sensible). 

At this point, your name and address and email and phone number are required, and that's it your next click creates your account

Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

It is a busy scene, but not unusual, and navigation once you've clicked about a bit is ok - There is a lot on the site so it is no surprise that getting to more niche events may take a few more taps, but in the main, the stuff we want the most often is easy to find.

Placing a bet

Placing a bet was simple enough, a couple of small snooker stakes and a football bet, which i saw cash out option for straight after, so all good here.

Managing your account

The account management section is not the most interesting part of the site, and neither should it be, but checking balances, making deposits and withdrawals are all intuitive and access to responsible gambling tools is essential and present

Responsible Gambling Features

You have to set your deposit limit while you’re signing up to 7Bet; long before you’ve got close to actually making a bet. 

7Bet offers a variety of tools and measures to help customers maintain responsible gambling habits. The available responsible gambling tools are:

1. **Self-Exclusion with GAMSTOP**: This tool blocks you from accessing or creating an account with all UK gambling operators for a period of 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years.

2. **Time Out**: A facility where customers can take a break from gambling for durations ranging from 24 hours to 6 weeks.

3. **Self-Exclusion on 7Bet**: A voluntary self-exclusion for a period of 6 months up to 5 years to restrict your ability to deposit or place bets.

4. **Session Time Limit**: You can set a limit on the duration of your playing time within one session by contacting the Support Center.

5. **Deposit Limits**: Limitations on deposits can be set on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period, while decreases are effective immediately.

6. **Reality Check**: System messages inform you every hour about the amount of time you've been playing and your wins or losses, allowing you to decide whether to continue playing or stop.

7. **Game Time Reminders**: These reminders keep track of your time gambling either for each casino game you open, per device, and per account with the website.

8. **Access to Account History**: The ability to review your account history to become aware of your gambling patterns.

9. **Staff Training**: 7Bet staff are trained to assist with issues related to responsible gaming.
