Eberechi Eze is now 6/4 to sign for Manchester City this summer with reports of interest
Crystal Palace and England player Eberechi Eze is now just 6/4 to sign for Manchester City this summer with reports linking them with a move for the attacking midfielder.
Eze has a reported buyout clause of £60m and various sources state that City have discussed triggering that clause in the past 48 hours including City fan account @RealTolmie on X.
Betting sites are now offering odds on where Eze will end up at the end of the summer with City's odds being slashed in the past week to 6/4 joint favourites alongside Tottenham.
Both clubs currently have a 40% chance of signing Eze in the remaining days of the summer transfer window as the Premier League teams look to wrap up their business.

What the expert says...
City looking for new attacker after Oscar Bobb fractured his leg in training this week
Oscar Bobb was expected to be City's star man in the opening weeks of the season after impressing in pre-season, including a man of the match performance in their Community Shield win against Man United last weekend.
Unfortunately though Bobb suffered a rough injury in training on Wednesday and faces a spell on the sidelines after fracturing a bone in his leg.
21-year-old is hoped to be back before the end of 2024 but such is these injuries that City will not want to be rushing him back.

Tottenham have previously been linked with a move for the Palace player
Ange Postecoglou and his Tottenham side have been linked with signing Eze throughout the summer with reports suggesting that Spurs will go for him during the Euros.
That move failed to happen though and it looks like now that we could see a battle between Spurs and Man City to sign the player this summer.
Eze is a big talent and he's regularly been linked with moves away from Palace in the past 18 months, with now looking like the time where a club may finally meet his release clause.
