Fury announced his retirement from Boxing on Monday

Tyson Fury told fans on Monday that he had retired from Boxing in a social media video which also saw the fighter mention Dick Turpin.

"I'd like to announce my retirement from boxing. It's been a blast, I've loved every single minute of it. I'm going to end with this. Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, see you on the other side. Get up!"

Fury has retired twice before after beating Wladimir Klitschko and after beating Dillian Whyte at Wembley so it may well be that we see him back in a ring.

Reports had hinted at him fighting Anthony Joshua this year

Early reports during the start of 2025 had seen thoughts that Fury would fight Anthony Joshua at some point in 2025 with Boxing fans wanting the two to finally meet in the ring.

Eddie Hearn though told Sky Sports that discussions hadn't even began around the bout though saying, "there's been no negotiations from our side. The only conversation we've had with Frank Warren and [Fury's manager] Spencer Brown is when the time is right, let's have a chat. That's it."

You'd expect that there's a chance of the big fight still happening though but without a title on the line it could be that there's no desire there for Fury.
