Cristiano Ronaldo is now 4/7 to stay at Old Trafford this season after Erik Ten Hag's words yesterday

Superstar football Cristiano Ronaldo is now into 4/7 to stay at Manchester United this Summer with Erik Ten Hag stating he is "not for sale" this window.

The Premier League's most successful club are looking to keep one of their best ever players in Ronaldo after the player reportedly asked to leave earlier this Summer.

Bookmakers made him 2/1 to stay at Manchester United last week, with Bayern Munich the favourites to sign Ronaldo at odds of 4/1.

All has changed since then though with Chelsea the favourite destination for Ronaldo this window at odds of 3/1 but staying at United looks likely.

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds Probability
Stay at Man Utd 4/7 63.6%
Chelsea 3/1 25.0%
Bayern Munich 9/2 18.2%
Sporting Lisbon 12/1 7.7%

Ronaldo now into 12/1 to return to boyhood club Sporting Lisbon this Summer

Sporting Lisbon have always been linked with a move for Ronaldo whenever he's rumoured with moves away from the club he's currently at.

Ronaldo began his career at Sporting and has made numerous hints at returning to his boyhood club in previous interviews.

Previous odds of 25/1 for him to join Sporting have been slashed by over half to 12/1 now.

Wages are the biggest issue for any club going in for Ronaldo and it feels like a club of Sporting's size would find it incredibly tough to afford them.

Erik ten Hag now underway with pre-season underway

The Erik ten Hag era has begun with the squad in pre-season training now with their first match against Liverpool later today.

Ten Hag released a number of players and his squad needs to be improved before the season gets underway at the beginning of August, with only 1 signing so far.

The short amount of transfers into the club may mean that ten Hag can't afford to get rid of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in this transfer window

Manchester United are favourites to sign Christian Eriksen this Summer with the player reportedly choosing United as his destination.

Erik Ten Hag gets his Manchester United era officially underway on Tuesday afternoon with a pre-season friendly against Liverpool. United are 25/1 to win the Premier League this season.
