The Final Five of this year's series of The Apprentice are all-female for the second year running

Following the latest firing from this year's series of The Apprentice we're now left with an all-female Final Five for the second season in a row.

Simba Rwambiwa was the final candidate fired in the regular tasks after failing to impress Lord Sugar against Dani Donovan and Megan Hornby on Team Apex.

Rwambiwa was the third favourite to win the series according to our betting industry insider but this has all changed following his shock departure on Thursday's show.

Despite being on the losing side in this week's episode it's Megan and Dani who remain the favourites to win the show.

Winning Candidate Odds* Probability
Dani Donovan
2/1 33.3%
Megan Hornby 3/1 25.0%
Rochelle Raye Anthony 5/1 16.7%
Marnie Swindells 5/1 16.7%
Victoria Goulbourne
8/1 11.1%

An all-female final five for the second year running leaves Lord Sugar with tough decisions to make in the boardroom! Megan Hornby remains our betting industry insider's pick to win the show at odds of 9/4.

Simba Rwambiwa was fired following scathing remarks from Lord Sugar

Simba Rwambiwa was a shock dismissal on this week's Apprentice with Lord Sugar clearly unhappy with his recent performances in tasks.

Speaking in the boardroom after Team Apex lost the task Lord Sugar said to Rwambiwa: "You don't say anything worth listening to."

Sugar of course tied his firing message with the Dog Food task adding, "every dog has its day and sadly, Simba, it’s not your day. It is with regret, you’re fired".

The senior sales representative from Birmingham had a 20% chance of winning the show according to our betting insider but couldn't make the final five.

We take a closer look at the Final Five

With an all-female final five for a second year in a row it will be one of Megan Hornby, Dani Donovan, Marnie Swindells, Victoria Goulbourne or Rochelle Raye Anthony who wins the series.

We've dipped into our Apprentice blog to give further information around the final five candidates on this year's edition of the show.

Marnie Swindells is a Court Advocate from London, she says she can be a bit headstrong but so far in this series she has come across as balanced and one of the better candidates.

She is also a Gold Medal-winning boxer so should be able to handle the rough and tumble of the boardroom.

Megan Hornby - Age 25
