QuinnBet is relatively new on the scene, but has managed to establish itself as a bookmaker worth considering. They don’t have a crazy amount of sports coverage, but they have pricked ears thanks to the promotions that they offer.

First Impression of QuinnBet

By Luke Bradshaw Lee - This review will reflect the service offered at the time of writing. I signed up on the desktop version of QuinnBet, but also used the mobile version to compare, as well as downloading the QuinnBet app. 

QuinnBet feels classic and clean. Aside from the promotional carousel that runs along the top of the screen (more of that later), the rest of the site features a tonne of white space, clean lines, and a general design that is at-odds with what you expect to see from most bookies, cramming in as much as possible in. A quick look down the side bar menu suggests that the variety in sports is top drawer – I’m not sure where else I’d find biathlon to bet on.

QuinnBet Live Betting

The live betting at QuinnBet is quite excellent. Head to their In-Play section, listed at the top of the sidebar menu, and you’ll see all their live markets, as well as upcoming and featured markets. They also list how many events are currently live, 75 at the time of writing. This is then split between respective sports. At the time of review there is some tennis, football, golf, cricket and plenty more. Overall, QuinnBet doesn’t quite make our list of best bookmakers for in-play betting, but they are not far off, and use StatsScore – an excellent part of the QuinnBet product.

QuinnBet Betting Odds

After looking through some comparison sites – OddsChecker and a few others – as well as a further look across alternative bookmakers, it looks like the odds offered at QuinnBet are good, but not market-leading. We checked football, tennis and table tennis for in-play odds, plus horse racing and a few other sports for pre-match stuff. They’re very competitive and, crucially, because they have some sports that other bookies don’t, you’ll find odds for niche sports here that you won’t elsewhere.

QuinnBet Betting App or Mobile Site 

QuinnBet’s app is excellent. Often, you get a few different menu options on apps – on the top, with other parts down the side, an extra collapsable menu elsewhere. QuinnBet keeps everything simple, positioning everything (apart from the login) at the bottom, freeing up the entirety of the screen for the betting product itself.

The promotional menu at the top is big, but it disappears as soon as you scroll down from it, and one extra nice touch is the way the section titles (“Live Now”, “Upcoming” etc.) freeze as you scroll so that you still know where you are when moving through quickly.

QuinnBet Football Betting

QuinnBet offers a very broad range of football markets, with odds that are competitive. There’s obviously the major leagues and competitions, but punters can also find domestic leagues as broad and varied as Bahrain, Cyprus, Ethiopia and Thailand. There are also loads and loads of promotions running that are football-specific.

Bet Builder 

There’s an absolute tonne of markets within their bet builder feature – called Create A Bet on QuinnBet. There’s a decent enough selection of markets within this, although I like to see a few more (there are no player fouls committed, or player tackles), but to be honest, these might be added closer to the time.

Bonuses

As well as the welcome offer there are a few different promotions to take advantage of. At the time of review, I counted 10 different football promotions, before you start looking at odds boosts and the like. There are things like No Goals No Worries (a free bet if your game finishes 0-0), Red Card Insurance and Crossbar Insurance (losing stake back as a free bet if there is a red card, or someone hits the crossbar), plus goalscoring promotions, acca bonuses and more.

Cash Out

Cashout is a very important betting feature for punters these days so it's crucial that bookies integrate this feature into their mobile betting apps. QuinnBet have done this well, allowing their customers to instantly cash out their bets on any device they like.

Free Bet Club

QuinnBet has one of the more original free bet club type promotions running on its site. It’s a weekly reward, called the QuinnBet £10, and allows punters to create their own bet using their “create a bet” feature. By doing this, and staking £10, you automatically qualify for a free £10 bet the following week when the original bet settles. They rank as no.2 in our best free bet clubs in the country.

QuinnBet Horse Racing

The horse racing section at QuinnBet is very good – I counted 12 different promotions for horse racing alone. There’s an Acca Boost and Acca Bonus, free Tricast and Forecasts bets on selected days, and Yankee Bonuses. This is on top of Fallers Insurance, Extra Places and money back as a free bet if your horse finishes 2nd to the favourite. 

QuinnBet also have BOG (Best Odds Guaranteed). This is on all UK racing, with multiples included, and from 8:30am each day.

QuinnBet US Sports Betting

A full range of American Sports is available. Of the major leagues in the US, there’s no MLB season currently, but it’s good to see some futures and outrights, regardless. 

American Football Betting

No UK bookmaker offers more promotions than QuinnBet when it comes to American football. All bookmakers run promotions, and some you can apply to American football, but actually very few are specific to the sport. At QuinnBet you get free bets if you win NFL accas, free bets based on in-play bets on US sports and NFL acca insurance. Marry that with competitive odds, great market coverage and the possibility to go each way on outright bets such as the Super Bowl and you have an excellent NL betting site. It’s worth checking out our best NFL betting sites to see why QuinnBet comes in at no.2

Basketball Betting

I think QuinnBet has about as many basketball leagues as I’ve seen anywhere else. There’s obviously the NBA, but QuinnBet covers a wide range of EuroLeague and domestic world competitions, also. There are also events in Austria, Bulgaria, South Korea, Slovakia and more. I can’t see much in the way of outrights, or player markets, so perhaps the depth isn’t as good as the width, but I still like it nonetheless.

Baseball Betting

While QuinnBet can’t match 888Sport (the no.1) for market depth, they compete at the very top for everything else. Of course they cover MLB, but they also have markets for the Japanese and South Korean leagues, also. QuinnBet utilises stats thanks to StatsScore, presented efficiently and made easy to follow, and promotions wise, you can each way outrights, odds boosts and up to £50 on an acca bonus. Keep tabs on the top baseball betting sites though, to see why they make it onto our list.

Ice Hockey Betting

The NHL takes up the bulk of space here, as expected. But there are also some French, Austrian, and Danish fixtures included. I selected an upcoming NHL game and there 12 markets listed, which is okay. For the smaller leagues that reduces a bit more, which is understandable. Overall, I think this is a fairly standard offering. 

QuinnBet Greyhound Betting

There’s no live streaming or Best Odds Guaranteed for greyhounds, which is a bit disappointing, but generally the odds are good and there are a couple of promotions that punters should definitely be aware of. You’ll get your stake back as a free bet if your dog finishes second to the favourite and you can get a daily free bet up to £5 dependent on your other greyhound racing bets.

QuinnBet Darts Betting

There are markets for the Bahrain Darts Masters, European Tour, and Modus Series, and the upcoming Premier League, with an okay selection of markets within. There are a good amount of options in-play, with odds changing swiftly. It’s good to know that the site and its odds are properly reflecting the action going on in what is a European Tour match.

QuinnBet Snooker Betting

By Steve Madgwick - As with the best snooker betting sites, there are markets for a few different tournaments, including the World Championships, the Masters and World Grand Prix. On top of that, the odds look quite competitive, and that goes for outrights on next year’s World Championships, as well as upcoming matches in some smaller tournaments. Although the odds are generally good across the board, there is definitely a lack of markets. For one selected match QuinnBet has result, handicap, correct score and total frame markets. There isn’t anything for race to (frames) or any more novelty bets like odd/even total frames etc. which means that there are a fair few other sites who can offer more.

QuinnBet Rugby Betting (Union & League)

But there’s also the French D2, which you don’t see often. There is, however, a disappointing selection in markets, with only five or six per match. QuinnBet Cricket Betting

The odds are really good, and this is probably somewhere I will return to for my cricket betting, but that’s only if the markets are listed, because there are definitely some missing here that I could find elsewhere.

QuinnBet Tennis Betting

Across the site it’s definitely one of the better sports in terms of in-play coverage and its nice to see some tennis-specific promotions there also. QuinnBet has an Acca Bonus for tennis bets, plus an In-Play Bonus, based on 5% of your tennis bets. If they could add in more markets, and some tennis-specific promotions, they’d definitely be closer to getting into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.

QuinnBet Golf Betting

By James Banting - It’s great to see some gold promotions. QuinnBet offers extra places at selected tournaments, but it’s all PGA and European Tour ones, which is amazing coverage. On top of that they also have a 2nd or 3rd Place Special – you’ll get a free bet if your outright pick to win finishes 2nd or 3rd. 

QuinnBet Motorsports Betting

Understandably, the F1 grand prix takes centre stage, although it doesn’t have its own tab and is housed within the “Motor Sport” section. Here you’ll also find Formula E, MotoGP, NASCAR and Speedway. F1 is definitely the deepest here, which should come as no surprise, with plenty of markets and driver specials for the next Grand Prix of the season.

QuinnBet Boxing Betting

Those this weekend and over the next few weeks have a decent offering, whereas the further away they get the less markets on offer. That’s understandable, and I wouldn’t expect to find round by round and the like for fights that are months away. Overall, I like what QuinnBet is doing, even if there is a little bit of room for improvement. 

QuinnBet Other Sports Betting

Whilst these sports might sound very niche, there is still a large enough market for fans, and millions of them in the UK, so good coverage of niche sports and events is key to be reviewed on OLBG; let’s dig in a bit further.

Handball Betting

Betting on handball at QuinnBet looks great. What is nice to see, and not something everyone does, is pretty much as many women’s tournaments as men’s, with the Women's World Championships, European League, Women’s Bundesliga, and more. That’s on top of me’s leagues in Norway, Romania, Sweden and more. Handball is increasingly popular and QuinnBet looks to be struggling in terms of providing a platform for punters to bet on various handball events and tournaments worldwide. 

Cycling Betting

QuinnBet offers betting on cycling for sports bettors who like to dabble in cycling betting, and comparing it with others out there it’s what we’d expect. There isn’t a load of markets, but that’s true of anywhere to be honest. What you can get is odds on next year’s Tour de France winner.

Aussie Rules Football Betting

As far as QuinnBet is concerned, their event coverage is pretty standard – they have most parts covered. Their markets and odds are good, but not as great as others, but overall they are still a solid option.

Political Betting

There is decent betting available for esports markets, with markets  available on games such as DOTA 2, Counter-Strike, League of Legends and FIFA as well as many others. Esports betting is of course not as traditional as normal betting markets but it's popularity is increasing as gaming grows in size year-by-year. QuinnBet has an excellent virtual sports section. Housed in the site’s main menu, alongside Sports, In Play and Casino, you can get straight to their virtual sports offering. In short, there’s an absolute ton of virtual sports located here, with staggered timings so there’s always something going on.

A reassuringly easy process. At the top-right of the screen QuinnBet has their “Join Now” button. Bettors just need to select this and follow the simple steps as guided through. You’ll be asked for the usual information – name, date of birth, address etc – and once complete be sent a verification email. Clicking this from your inbox will redirect you to the site, and then you’re free to get betting.

Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

The QuinnBet app is very good. The desktop version of the site is better than most, but the app does exactly what you want and that is not to feel too far removed when you switch from one device to the next, but also being product-led, and designed to suit its purpose, rather than just be a mobile version. The QuinnBet app feels really clean, and is super simple to navigate. 

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to QuinnBet I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very indeed. 

Managing your account

As mentioned above, the design really helps this along. On the desktop version, it’s stuff to the  left of the screen. On the app, it’s all at the bottom, with just the login at the top. I haven’t experienced any issues logging in, or finding customer service options, either. Overall, it feels like QuinnBet has got this part nailed.

This is one of the reasons that they score highly in our Top 10s for US sports like American football and baseball, because they offer promotions on these sports while other bookies completely ignore it.
