Bookies now go 30/1 that X changes its name back to Twitter in next couple of months
Betting specials remain available for Elon Musk's social media platform X with bookmakers offering a variety of markets around the future of the company.
Included in these specials are odds that X changes its name back to Twitter with the latest odds as big as 30/1 that Musk makes a u-turn and changes the branding back.
Realistically it looks like this won't be the case with Musk pushing through with the X rebrand but the majority of users still refer to the platform as Twitter and likely always will do.
The betting specials now include other outcomes such as changing the branding for Tesla with odds that the T logo changes before the end of the year too.

Elon Musk to change T logo of Tesla | 20/1 | 4.8% |

Recent reports suggest that Elon Musk could make X a paid platform for all users with the businessman and X owner floating the idea of it happening last month.
Musk discussed it happening in a livestream discussion with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on 18 September when talking about more bots on the platform.
“I’d say maybe the single most important reason that we’re moving to having a small monthly payment for use of the X system is it’s the only way I can think of to combat vast armies of bots,” Musk said.
The betting line for this market is $2.99 with bookies making it 5/6 each way for over and under that price with an introduction potentially in the next few months.
Elon Musk remains heavy favourite to have most followed account on platform
Elon Musk has been the most followed account on X since he took over the company with his followers rising more and more every single month.
Musk now has a 90% chance of having the most followed X account by the end of the year with his odds as short as 1/10 for that to happen.
The X owner now has more than 22 million more followers than the second most followed account in Barack Obama with more than 154m followers on the platform.
