Paapa Essiedu is now 2/1 joint favourite to be the next James Bond
Betting is still available for who the next James Bond will be and it's Paapa Essiedu who is the biggest market mover with UK Betting Sites in the past few weeks.
Paapa Essiedu was linked to the role through British director Danny Boyle who signed up to direct the 25th Bond movie back in 2018 before leaving the project just a matter of months later.
Boyle spoke highly about Essiedu in an interview with Esquire back in 2022 and fast forward a year later and Betway have now moved him into the 2/1 joint favourite to be the next Bond.

Happy Valley actor James Norton had been the biggest market mover in the past few months with his odds tumbling down from 7/1 to the 2/1 he is now to be the next Bond.
Norton's popularity has grown massively this year after his role as Tommy Lee Royce in the final series of Happy Valley gave him massive praise from TV critics and fans of the show.
The London born actor has been linked with being James Bond for a long while now with an interview back on ITV's This Morning back in 2018 seeing him discuss Bond rumours.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has drifted out to 5/2 for the Bond role despite previous reports of a "secret screen test" for the role.
Recent reports stated that Taylor-Johnson met with Barbara Broccoli and the Bond team with three meetings and a screen test taking place for the famous role.
The latest betting odds now though have seen his odds drift out from the odds-on favourite previously to the 5/2 odds that he is at now.
