Currently the Co-Presenter of Peston on ITV, Anushka Asthana is a British journalist and television presenter born in Scunthorpe in Linconshire, beginning her Career with The Observer in 2003, and working for the Washington Post and Sky news before arriving at ITV.
She has become an expert at bringing the most important news stories to life with her captivating presenting style.
In 2018 she started hosting The Guardian's daily podcast, Today in Focus; since 2019 this role also includes being their editor-at large! She was previously the joint political editor of The Guardian from 2016 to 2018.
