Big name contenders in the running for the Barnsley job next season
Betting odds are now given on the next Barnsley manager with the club now on the search for their next permanent boss after sacking Darrell Clarke.
Conor Hourihane has been placed as the interim boss until the end of the season with the 34-year-old given the last 10 games of the campaign.
Hourihane features in the market to be the permanent manager and it could well happen if he has a massive final run this season.
Michael Duff is the early favourite to make a shock return to Barnsley after he was sacked by Huddersfield Town earlier this month.

Darrell Clarke sacked after 9 months in charge
Barnsley's poor run of form in the past few months saw the club dismiss Darrell Clarke as their boss on Wednesday.
The Reds have tumbled down the League One table in the past couple of months with 7 defeats in their last 11 games to drop out of the play-off spots.
"Unfortunately, we find ourselves eight points away from the play-offs and feel that a change is needed," chairman Neerav Parekh said.

Conor Hourihane has been given the interim role until the end of the season
Conor Hourihane is confirmed as the interim boss of Barnsley for the final 10 games of the season and steps up after retiring from football in December.
Hourihane was Clarke's assistant and now finds himself in the main role for the final run of the campaign and his odds are 6/1 to get the job permanently.
Any good run of form may well see his stock rise and the Barnsley board decide to offer him the job.
