Hollywood is reportedly set for its latest movie reboot with The Longest Yard heading back to the big screen for the third time after its 1974 Original and 2005 reboot.

Adam Sandler's 2005 made more than $190m at the global Box Office with a total budget of $82m making it the second highest grossing MTV Films movie of all time.

Now Paramount Pictures are reportedly set to reboot the movie once more and attentions turn to who may potentially appear in the upcoming movie.

The film's main plot is around a former professional Quarterback who assembles an American Football team to play against the guards and it's no surprise to see Tom Brady favourite with bookies to star in the movie.

Tom Brady is now retired and he could well star as the main man in the movie which would be a big role if he wanted to turn his attentions to acting.

Aaron Rodgers now second favourite despite his playing career set to continue

Aaron Rodgers is the second favourite in the betting market to appear in the movie but it looks like he will be continuing in the NFL.

The latest reports around his career say that he will continue playing after missing a large portion of last season through injury which could rule him out of a big acting gig here.

Rodgers has a 20% chance of appearing in the movie with the latest betting odds putting him as the second favourite at 4/1.

Deadline reported that a reboot of the movie is currently in the works with Paramount Pictures

Reports from Deadline back in November last year said that another remake of the classic 1974 movie starring Burt Reynolds is on the way soon.

Paramount Pictures are currently working on the movie with Rodney Barnes currently writing the script and no clues as to yet as who will star.

Paramount Plus has been a growing streaming platform in recent months and this could well see The Longest Yard air straight on there, with OLBG also guessing that it could well be a mini-series.
