James Blunt is now evens to change his name to Blunty McBluntface
Singer James Blunt has promised to legally change his name to the public's most popular pick if his latest album release reaches the Number One spot later this month.
50-year-old Blunt has used the hashtag #jameswho and asked his fans to choose what his new name will be ahead of the re-release of his debut album Back to Bedlam.
If Back to Bedlam hits number one on its 20th anniversary then Blunt has said that he will change his name to the most popular pick from fans on his hashtag.
The current most-liked suggestion is Blunty McBluntface despite Blunt telling Radio X's Chris Moyles on the The Chris Moyles Show last week that this is his least favourite option.
Latest betting odds now say there's a 50% chance of Blunty McBluntface being chose as the winner with Blames Junt following just behind in the betting market.

Football fans have jumped onto the bandwagon
Two interesting additions to the market are Divock Origi and Nick Pope who are two professional footballers with fans of their clubs sending in suggestions.
The Guardian's Deputy Football Editor Sachin Nakrani replied to Blunt's tweet with former Liverpool player Origi with that post getting 14,000 likes at the time of writing.
Our quick view of the replies puts this as the firm leader in terms of likes but it may well be that any sort of sport star name is ignored by Blunt.
Divock Origi.
