Bookies have now made the UK 10/1 to win Eurovision this year
Talk around the Eurovision Song Contest ramps up this week with just three months remaining until the big show takes place in the UK.
Bookies have constantly been chopping and changing the betting odds over who will win the show and the UK themselves have drifted out from 2/1 to as big as 10/1 to win now.
We still don't know who the UK's entrant will be for this year's Eurovision but what we do know is William Hill now give them an implied probability of winning of just 9%.
Eurovision Song Contest 2023 winner | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Ukraine | 11/4 | 26.7% |
Sweden | 11/2 | 15.4% |
Czech Republic | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Finland | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Italy | 17/2 | 10.5% |
United Kingdom
|
10/1 | 9.1% |
Czech Republic have been another massive market mover in the past few weeks with their odds tumbling down to just 8/1 to win the show.
Alongside Finland they are now the third favourites to win the show with Sweden and Ukraine above them in the betting.
The UK have drifted right out in the betting market to win Eurovision this year with bookies now making the host country as big as 10/1 to win the Song Contest in Liverpool in May!

Ukraine remain the betting favourites for this year's Eurovision Song Contest
Ukraine remain the outright favourites to win Eurovision as they have been since the betting market was introduced after last year's winning performance.
The country's inability to host the Song Contest due to the ongoing conflict with Russia means that the United Kingdom will host the award show.
"Heart of Steel" performed by Tvorchi will be Ukraine's entrant to this year's Song Contest with the country looking to win it for two year's in a row.
