With comparisons to famous Britain's Got Talent winner Susan Boyle already, Tom Ball has shot to the top of the betting market to win this year's series of the show.

Ball, a 23 year old teacher from West Sussex, received four yeses from the judges to put him through and he wowed the audience at home to after his audition.

Singing Sam Smith's James Bond theme 'Writing's On The Wall', Ball impressed Simon Cowell especially who praised his voice.

Simon Cowell's golden buzzer act Axel Blake is 11/1 to win the show this year

Comedian Axel Blake's hilarious routine made judges instantly warm to him, with Simon Cowell pressing his buzzer for the act.

Blake's routine focussed on the coronavirus pandemic and talking about how he went through that, including contactless payments and so on.

Viewers and fans of the show on Twitter have been disappointed to see that Blake has his own Stand-Up Special on Amazon Prime.

The show, filmed at the O2 Indigo, isn't currently available to stream but the trailer shows a sell out crowd enjoying Blake's comedy.

Fans of the show feel this goes against the 'Joe Public' appeal that Britain's Got Talent used to have and highlights a change in the series.

Greatest Showman singer Loren Allred is second favourite in market at 4/1

Singer Loren Allred was Amanda Holden's Golden Buzzer last weekend, with her performance being praised by all four judges.

Allred is already a star in music, with her performance of The Greatest Showman song 'Never Enough' staying in the film as she provided the vocals for Rebecca Ferguson's character.

Similar to Axel Blake, this has left viewers of the show confused as to why an established act is performing and being put through.

A spokesman for BGT though told the Metro that "Loren is not a household name, and she deserves her spot on the BGT stage."

Loren Allred is second favourite to win this year's Britain's Got Talent after her stunning performance of The Greatest Showman song Never Enough. Viewers though have been confused as to why an already established singer has auditioned for the show.
