I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Bookmakers give Republicans 60% chance of White House Return
  • Betting sites offering just 5/2 on Trump triumph
  • Harris still stands with Biden and has only 10% chance of a win according to bookies

We may still be two years out and there may be no definites as to who will be running for President in 2024, but that hasn't stopped betting sites being cautious with laying wagers on Donald Trump returning to the Oval office.

They have now made him favourite for the post ahead of Joe Biden, De Santis, and Kamala Harris.

Whilst the prospect was unthinkable just 6 months ago, the betting odds on Donald Trump becoming President once again have shortened to a point where he is now the most bet on potential candidate with betting firms.

Presidential Election Odds

Candidate Odds Decimal Probability
Donald Trump 5/2 3.5 28.6%
Joe Biden 4/1 5.2 19.2%
Ron De Santis 11/2 6.5 15.4%
Kamala Harris 9/1 10.0 10%
Pete Buttigieg 18/1 19.0 5%
Nikki Haley 18/1 19.0 5%

And so it is that the Republicans are now odds-against replacing the Democrats in the White House with betting sites going just 4/6 on the chance of Trump, De Santis, or any other taking the helm at the vote.

2024 Winning Election Party

Party Odds Decimal Probability
Republicans 4/6 1.67 60%
Democrats 11/10 2.10 47.6%
Any Other 25/1 26.0 3.8%

Which Party wins in 2024 is still fairly close although the Republicans have a distinct favour with bettors and are rated 60% in probability terms of returning to the white house at odds of just 4/6
