Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is the 1/3 favourite to be the PFA Player of the Year

The Premier League season is at a break now ahead of the Qatar World Cup and bookies have updated their PFA Player of the Year betting markets.

Erling Haaland remains the favourite for the award but his odds have been backed further into 1/3 from 1/2 at the start of last month.

Bet365 put Haaland as the clear favourite for the award ahead of his Manchester City teammate Kevin De Bruyne who is 5/1 to win it.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane is 20/1 to win the award and he sits 6 goals behind Erling Haaland this year.

Kane goes into the World Cup in decent form and will be hoping to translate that to goals for his country.

Arsenal are five points clear at the top of the Premier League and Gabriel Jesus is 25/1 to win the POTY award

Despite being 5 points clear at the top of the Premier League, Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus is as big as 25/1 to win the PFA Player of the Year award.

Jesus has arguably been Arsenal's best player so far this campaign and fans and pundits have praised the forward on a weekly basis.

Bukayo Saka has also been massive for the Gunners this season and bookies make him 33/1 to win the award.
