Claudio Ranieri is 6/1 to be the next manager sacked in the Premier League

Despite being in the job for just a month at Watford, Claudio Ranieri is already 6/1 second favourite with bookmakers to be the next Premier League manager to be dismissed this season. 

Watford have a history of dismissing managers early into their managerial reign, with a MASSIVE 17 different managers in the last decade showing that they're not scared to pull the trigger early.

Ranieri is a manager who isn't exactly known to stick around in a job for a lengthy spell, with the majority of his 22 different managerial jobs lasting no longer than 2 years.

The Italian manager is arguably best known for his title winning season at Leicester, a 5000/1 shot with bookies, and that merit has meant that he is linked with the majority of jobs that come up in the Premier League.

Claudio Ranieri is in his 22nd managerial job in 35 years

With 22 different jobs over a 35 year career in management, it's clear to see that Ranieri has been around the block when it comes to being a football manager.

The Italian started his career in management back in 1986 with Vigor Lamezia, a team that since Ranieri's reign has been refounded twice showing just how much has changed since he started as a manager. 

Ranieri's most well known job in football was when he was manager of Leicester back in 2015. 

Leicester were odds of 5000/1 with bookies to win the Premier League and achieved the unthinkable under Ranieri's reign.

After a tricky start to the season, Ranieri's Watford side are odds on to be relegated from the Premier League this season. 

An impressive thumping of Everton, 5-2 away at Goodison Park, made many fans and pundits feel that Ranieri may have been a good appointment and changed their fortunes.

Since then though back to back defeats against Southampton and Arsenal will have made Ranieri realise that he's a big job on his hands.

Bookmakers have Watford at 33/1 to finish in the top half this season, with a 2.9% implied probability that they will go on a big run and finish in the top 10 in the Premier League.
