Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates moves into second favourite to replace Gary Lineker
Betting odds continue to be offered on who will be the next Match of the Day presenter with no replacement for Gary Lineker announced as of yet and bookies have new entries in the latest betting market.
Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates now sits as second favourite in the market to replace Lineker with a whole host of big names featuring towards the top of the odds list.
The BBC will be hoping to get a familiar face to take over from Lineker in one of their flagship programmes on the network with Match of the Day showing highlights from the Premier League.
Cates has presented massive Premier League games on Sky Sports since 2017 so her experience would make it a comfortable fit to replace Lineker.
BBC Radio 5 Live also has Cates as a presenter so it may be that her ties with the BBC already would be used as an advantage and bet365 now place her at 3/1 in the latest market.

Mark Chapman still remains favourite in the market to take over as Match of the Day presenter
BBC presenter Mark Chapman still sits top of the market to be the next MOTD presenter and seems like the most natural fit with his experience presenting Match of the Day 2 on a Sunday night.
Chapman started off the market as the 2/1 favourite and has been backed in further into 5/4 as the BBC look to announce Lineker's replacement in the coming weeks.
The 51-year-old presenter had reportedly turned down the role earlier this month with The Sun saying that he said no to a job share between him and Kelly Somers.
Lineker will step down from the role at the end of the season after 25 years
Gary Lineker will step down from the Match of the Day presenter role at the end of the current Premier League season after 25 years in the hot seat.
Lineker though will stay at the BBC for the 2026 World Cup and will lead the coverage of the network's fixtures for that massive tournament with Thomas Tuchel taking charge of England.
The 63-year-old has been one of the biggest names at the BBC throughout his time there and the latest figures say that he made roughly £1.35m during the last financial year.
