Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso remains odds-on to become the next Liverpool manager with bookmakers continuing to offer betting odds on Jurgen Klopp's replacement.

Klopp shockingly announced that he will departing Liverpool at the end of the season back in January and that instantly saw the rumour mill kick-off around his replacement.

Alonso was instantly installed as the clear favourite in the betting market to return to Liverpool as the manager nearly 15 years on from when he departed the club as a player.

Rúben Amorim's odds have shortened slightly in the past week with reports suggesting that Liverpool will interview various candidates for the role.

Amorim is one of the names suggested to take over at Liverpool with the Reds having a massive decision to make on who will replace one of their greatest ever managers.
