Imagine Dragons are the new favourites to have the next MSG Sphere Residency
Las Vegas natives Imagine Dragons are the 6/1 favourites with bookmakers to have the next residency at the famous MSG Sphere in their hometown with the market changing around.
Sting had been the favourite as reported by OLBG at the start of November but his odds have since drifted out to 8/1 with bookies continuing to switch around various contenders in the betting.
The 17-time Grammy award winning artist was originally the 5/1 favourite to headline the next residency at the Sphere but has since moved out to third favourite with Martin Garrix just ahead of him.
Imagine Dragons odds now see them sit at the top of the betting market with an implied probability of 14% that it'll be them who take over from U2 with the next residency.

U2 have the current residency have extended in to early 2024
U2 extended their residency at the Las Vegas MSG Sphere into 2024 earlier in October after the success of their original run of dates so far which were set to conclude in December.
Now though an extra 11 dates have been confirmed between January 26th and February 18th that will see fans of the band able to watch them at the newly-opened venue.
U2's first run of dates end on the 16th December with the band having a break over the festive period and the second lot of dates of their residency are:

The famous venue in Vegas reportedly cost $2.3 billion
The MSG Sphere in Las Vegas was originally pencilled in to cost $1.2b when it was first announced but eventually ended up surpassing the $2b mark when it opened in September.
The arena is the biggest sphere-shaped building in the world standing at 366 feet tall and 516 wide with the building being able to fit the Statue of Liberty in.
Around 17,500 people can be seated in the venue, with the capacity going up to 20,000 when standing is offered on the floor.
Fighting is also expected to hit the Sphere at some point in 2024 with Dana White confirming the UFC have already booked the arena for Mexican Independence weekend in September 2024.
