Free agent Jesse Lingard just evens to sign for West Ham permanently this summer
Jesse Lingard is now evens with UK Betting Sites to sign for West Ham this summer after reports that he is training with the club to maintain his fitness.
Lingard played for West Ham in the second half of the 2020-21 Premier League season after signing for the club on loan in the January transfer window.
The winger then went back to Manchester United before leaving on a free and signing for Nottingham Forest in a spell where he got no goals or assists in his 17 league appearances.
Forest released him after that spell and now BetVictor have him at evens to sign for West Ham with reports from the Evening Standard that he is training with the club as a 'goodwill gesture' by Moyes to keep up his fitness.

What the expert says...
Lingard is 2/1 to sign for any Turkish club this summer
Reports back in May from the Nottingham Post hinted at Lingard being offered to Turkish side Besiktas but in the 3 months since then there has been no movement.
With Lingard being a free agent there will be no rush to sign the player, but Lingard himself will be pushing to find a club so he doesn't spend months on the sidelines.
The latest odds say there's a 33% chance that he heads to Turkey for the next stage of his career but West Ham are still the favourites in the market.

West Ham manager David Moyes is joint favourite to be sacked next
David Moyes has been in and around the top of the market to be the next manager to be sacked throughout the summer but Julen Lopetegui was the first manager to go before the season even started at Wolves.
Moyes though remains at the top of the betting with his odds putting him alongside Sheffield United manager Paul Heckingbottom at the head of the market to be sacked.
Heckingbottom saw his Sheffield United side lose 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace in their first game of the Premier League season, with West Ham drawing 1-1 away at Bournemouth.
