Harris Dickinson shortens in market to be the next James Bond
British actor Harris Dickinson has seen a significant surge in his odds to become the next James Bond with his odds slashed with UK Betting Sites from 16/1 into 5/2 in the past fortnight for the role.
This shift follows Dickinson's performance in the film "Babygirl" where he stars alongside Nicole Kidman and has boosted his popularity ever since.
William Hill's latest market places Dickinson as the 5/2 second favourite with the odds list looking wide open with a whole host of famous names appearing.
Theo James remains favourite for the role of Bond with other familiar names towards the top of the market including former favourites James Norton and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Amazon now 3/1 to make the franchise straight to streaming
The James Bond franchise is undergoing significant changes following Amazon's acquisition of MGM Studios with the company having to pay extra for the rights for Bond.
Now OLBG look at what could be next for the Bond franchise with the latest odds now at 3/1 that Amazon make it go straight to streaming on their Prime Video service.
It's unlikely that this will be the case, especially in the UK, with Bond releases usually doing fantastically at the Box Office over the years.
James Bond Amazon Specials | Odds* | Probability |
---|---|---|
Next Bond movie to be released in cinemas | 1/4 | 80.0% |
Next Bond movie to be Prime Video exclusive | 3/1 | 25.0% |
Jeff Bezos to star in next Bond movie | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Daniel Craig to return as Bond | 50/1 | 2.0% |
$1bn deal for “creative control” reported last week
Reports from The Guardian have revealed that Amazon had paid around $1bn for creative control of the James Bond franchise.
Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson have agreed the deal with Amazon for control of their franchise after they had been handed over control of Eon Productions back in 1995.
Now signals a brand new era for the James Bond character with Amazon looking to breathe new life into the character.
