Max Verstappen is heavy favourite at 1/4 to win the 2024 F1 Drivers Championship

Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen is unsurprisingly once again the heavy favourite with bookmakers to win the F1 Drivers Championship after his most dominant year yet in 2023.

Verstappen is clear at the top of the betting market to win the 2024 Championship with the latest betting odds suggesting there's an 80% chance that he wins the title.

The Dutch driver has been the champion for the last three years in a row and it's expected that there will be no change this year with Red Bull once again likely to have the best car.

It's not just the car though with Verstappen arguably the best driver that is on the grid and Bet365 now have him as the 1/4 favourite to win the Championship once again this year.

Red Bull also clear favourites to dominate the Constructor's Championship in 2024

With Verstappen's dominance expected again next year, it also means that Red Bull are expected to win the Constructor's Championship this year too.

Verstappen will once again be joined by Sergio Perez for Red Bull and the team will be hoping to once again win the Constructors award for the third successive season.

Mercedes won the title back in 2021 despite Verstappen winning the world title with Lewis Hamilton and Valterri Bottas clinching the constructor's title in the final race.

Further betting specials around Formula 1 in 2024 sees odds given around star driver Lewis Hamilton retiring from the sport where he has become a legend.

Sir Lewis's odds sit at 5/1 for him to retire from Formula 1 at some point in 2024 and his life off the track, with plenty of business ventures ongoing, may well tilt him towards retirement.

The latest odds give an implied probability of 16% that Hamilton decides to hang up his Racing helmet for the final time this year but his contract still has 2 more seasons left at Mercedes.
