Andy Bennett leads the way in the betting market to win this year's FishOMania
Two-time FishOMania champion Andy Bennett is the favourite with UK Betting Sites to win his third title this weekend as the biggest event in fishing is held once again.
Saturday will be the 31st annual FishOMania which is usually described as the FA Cup of fishing and we will see the biggest line-up yet with 25 entrants.
Bennett is the early favourite with bookmakers ahead of this weekend's event but the top of the market is tight with not much separating the frontrunners in the odds list.
Bet365's latest market gives Bennett an 18.2% chance of winning Saturday's event with second favourite Kieran Marsden's chances at 14.3% according to those latest odds.

What the expert says...
Last year's winner Matt Dawes sits at 12/1 in the latest odds list
Matt Dawes was crowned the 2023 FishOMania last year after a thrilling event saw him lead from start to finish to win ahead of Andy Power by 4kg.
That total weight gap was a tight margin and one that came at a soaking wet Westwood Lakes with Dawes battling the stormy weather to win the £50,000 prize.
The 2023 event saw Dawes sit at peg 14 and the draw for this year's positions has yet to be made but we will know in the coming days where he will be seated.
25 anglers compete in biggest ever FishOMania field this year
FishOMania 2024 will be the biggest ever field in the history of the competition with 25 different anglers going against each other to win the event.
22 of the field had to qualify for the event with the other three slots made up of 2023 champion Dawes, Women's National champion Leanne Knott and the winner of the 2024 Angling Trust Junior/Youth National.
