Man City Favourites at 2/1 as FA Cup Quarter-Finals Set for Weekend Showdown

The business end of the FA Cup kicks off this weekend, with all four Quarter-Final ties set to be played across Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March.

With the trophy in sight, punters are eyeing the outright winner market, where Manchester City top the list at 2/1 with Bet365.

The Premier League champions travel to the South Coast on Sunday to face Bournemouth in what many see as the tie of the round.

Pep Guardiola's men are chasing another domestic double and remain the clear favourites in the eyes of most betting sites.

What the expert says...
Man City rightly head the market, but I wouldn’t write off other big named teams in the competition. Preston at 80/1 might be a stretch, but don’t forget Wigan in 2013. There’s always room for a shock in the FA Cup!

Premier League teams make up 7 of the remaining 8 in the FA Cup

Bet365 have City at evens, giving them a 50% implied probability to lift the cup. Bournemouth though offer an intriguing underdog narrative, especially if they can pull off a shock at home to City.

But with Aston Villa (4/1) continuing to impress under Unai Emery and Brighton (5/1) handed a winnable home tie against Forest, this year's competition looks more open than the odds suggest.

Meanwhile, Fulham (13/2) will hope their strong Premier League form translates into a cup run when they meet Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
