Giedroyc has history with Eurovision after hosting the 'You Decide' event for the 2019 UK entrant as well as winning the 2020 Isolation Song Contest during lockdown.

Liverpool will be the hosts of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest
Liverpool will host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest after being confirmed on The One Show back in October.
It was a neck and neck race between Glasgow and Liverpool but the Merseyside city eventually won the hosting chance.
The final will be held at the Liverpool Arena next to the River Mersey on Saturday 13 May with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.
Liverpool were confirmed as the hosts for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest despite being outsiders in the betting market at the time of the announcement in October.
