Bookies now give odds of 6/1 that Donald Trump is sentenced to prison in 2023

Donald Trump faces a busy 2023 ahead with his 2024 Presidential Campaign set to take up most of his next 12 months as he attempts to get back in office.

Bookies are giving a whole host of specials around Trump's 2023 with the lowest odds at 6/1 for the former President to be sentenced to prison at some point this year.

Reports last month suggested that Trump faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted of all four criminal charges recommended by Jan. 6 committee with further charges potentially in the future too.

The unpredictability of the suspected charges make it all up in the air currently with no one knowing if or when he will be charged but an indictment would mean that Trump would have to be booked and fingerprinted like any defendant.

Other betting specials include Trump and his wife Melania to divorce this year

Bookmakers love to have a whole host of specials around Donald Trump with his public and private life both having eyes on them at all times.

One of these specials revolves around Trump and his marriage to wife Melania which reached it's 18th year earlier this week.

The latest betting odds say there's a 7/1 chance that the pair will divorce at some point in 2023 which could well happen given the stress a presidential campaign has.

Trump to take foreign citizenship at some point in 2023 is a 9/1 bet

The longest odds betting special for Donald Trump's 2023 is that he takes foreign citizenship at some point in the year at odds of 9/1.

This gives just a 10% probability of it happening but he can actually take British citizenship due to his mother being born in Scotland.

The test of being a good character has been removed when seeking British citizenship so there would be no hassle for Trump in gaining it.

If Trump is sentenced to prison at some point in 2023 though he may well face extradition back to the US under the US-UK Extradition Treaty.
