Christian Pulisic is now 5/1 to join Newcastle this January window
USA international Christian Pulisic is now 5/1 with bookies to join Newcastle this January with reports suggesting he could be 'tempted' by a move last month.
Since then it's emerged that it would only take a ‘great and interesting offer’ for Pulisic to leave Chelsea according to German journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Pulisic has played in all of the USA's World Cup games so far, scoring the winner against Iran to get them through to the Round of 16.
The World Cup has seen Pulisic lead the way for the USMNT and prove himself as a big player on the worldwide stage.
Christian Pulisic | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Newcastle | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Man United | 7/1 | 12.5% |
Dortmund
|
10/1 | 9.1% |
Juventus | 12/1 | 7.7% |
There will be a whole host of suitors for a player of Pulisic's calibre if Chelsea decide that the player is for sale in January.
The marketing force behind any American player in the Premier League though is massive and Chelsea's American owner Todd Boehly will like that.
Bookies say there's a 10/1 chance that Pulisic rejoins Dortmund in next month's transfer window
Chelsea signed Christian Pulisic from Dortmund back in 2019 for a rumoured fee of £58m and a return to Germany with the side has a 9.1% chance of happening.
Bookies give odds of 10/1 that he does go back to Dortmund in January and Pulisic has spoke highly of his Dortmund days since leaving the club.
Juventus also feature in the betting market as fourth favourites if Pulisic was to leave the Premier League in January, but the latest betting odds give just a 7.7% chance of him playing for the Old Lady.

Pulisic's USA side face the Netherlands in Saturday's Round of 16 tie
Pulisic's winner against Iran put his country through to the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup but the forward may not be able to play in the game.
The American had to come off at half-time in the game due to colliding with the Iranian goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand and feeling dizziness afterwards.
Pulisic was taken to hospital as a precaution and the USMNT will leave it right up to kick off to decide if he will play or not.
